At Jackie Boy’s Crew Foundation, we are dedicated to creating opportunities that enrich the lives of individuals with Down Syndrome and promote a more inclusive world. Inspired by our son Jackson, we work to support programs that celebrate ability, foster community, and create environments where all individuals can thrive.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity from last year’s Golf Classic sponsors, donors, and participants, we were able to make an incredible impact. Funds from the 2024 event supported the launch and expansion of the Special Olympics New York Young Athletes program at ACDS in Plainview. This inclusive sport and play initiative introduces children with and without intellectual disabilities—ages 2 to 7—to the joy of movement and foundational athletic skills.
To date, the program has:

Fully certified one lead coach through Special Olympics’ Sport Assistant, Level 1, and Level 2 trainings

Provided training to 50 additional staff at ACDS, who are now equipped to assist in delivering the program

Engaged over 200 young athletes, helping them grow socially, physically, and emotionally through purposeful play
These early experiences in sport not only build confidence and coordination, but also foster inclusion, teamwork, and joy at a young age—laying the groundwork for lifelong involvement in physical activity and community-based programs like Special Olympics.
This impact follows the success of our 2023 initiative, where we funded the construction of a state-of-the-art splash pad on the ACDS school grounds. This inclusive water play area has since transformed their summer camp experience—offering children with Down Syndrome and their peers a safe, sensory-rich environment for play, socialization, and summer fun.
We are incredibly proud of what’s been accomplished so far and know this is only the beginning.
